Gentle Surge
Gentle Surge is a small business in Madison that offers HypnoBirthing and Birth Doula Support services to clients from fertility, pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. The client came to me with an existing website that she wanted to be recreated into something more modern, user friendly, and responsive across all devices. She also had an existing presence on social media and wanted the website and socials to be better integrated. The client provided the copy and the photography, and I modified the branding, restructured the website, and rebuilt the site from scratch on WordPress.

After
Style guide for website redesign. I switched the script font to one that felt more personalized, sophisticated, and elegant. I also switched out the serif typeface to something that felt more modern. The teal and pink colors were muted to create a calm tone, and earth tones were introduced to reflect bodies.
Site Goals:
Increase usability, make mobile friendly, make text feel less overwhelming, clearly convey offerings, and better organize enrollment process.
